In the late 1990’s the first Flying Filing Cabinet decided to spread its wings and ended up down a bank, nestled up to the house below.
Now, you probably have not noticed my perverse sense of humour, but, when the Evening Post reporter telephoned me the following morning, I answered his question with “I just want you to know that we file better than we park.”
This is the picture which was on the front page, and what was even better, the late, great Jonah Lomu lived just down the road. There was a lot of words about Jonah and the New Zealand Rugby Union.
It wasn’t free marketing as car repair took forever. I am now up to Flying Filing Cabinet number five.
